To
the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold
to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you
will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

What We Believe
Basic Fundamental Beliefs:
-
There
is one true God eternally existing in three persons: the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
-
Jesus
Christ is God, the living Word, who became flesh and
blood. He was born of a virgin, lived a perfect and
sinless life, and provided redemption through His
sacrificial death on the cross.
-
Jesus
Christ resurrected after His death, ascended back to
Heaven, and now serves as the only mediator between God
and man. He is also the only Advocate and Intercessor
before God on behalf of man.
-
Holy
Spirit is a person — He is God. He is the quickening
agent of “new birth” in Christ, and is the “promised”
gift received at the moment of Salvation guaranteeing
our eternal inheritance. He convicts, teaches, guides,
gifts, comforts and empowers us to be Christ-like. Holy
Spirit’s role in the lives of Christians is of the
utmost importance.
-
The
Bible is the verbally inspired, infallibly written,
revealed Word of God given it’s the original
manuscripts. The Bible is our standard by which all
other truth and prophecies must be judged.
-
Salvation
of sinners is divinely initiated, wholly of grace, and
accomplished solely through the mediatorial work of the
Son of God. Salvation cannot be obtained through
works—only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
In obedience to Jesus Christ, water baptism must follow
conversion.
-
The
local church is the center piece in God’s Master Plan
for communicating His Truth. The primary purpose of the
Local Church is to train and equip Christians for the
work of ministry.
